How to create a new league

  • Updated

To create a new League, go to:

Planning > Championships > Championships

A window will open showing a list of all the leagues or tournaments you have created, whether they are finished or ongoing.

To create a new league, click the “New League” button.

It is very important to understand that, in a league, registrations should close before any matches have been played. Once matches have started, it is not possible to automatically reschedule all fixtures to include new players, since some games have already been played.

For this reason, if you register new teams after the league has started, the system will assign all their matches to a “Round 0”, and you will need to manually distribute those matches across the different rounds.

From this screen, you configure the general settings of the league.

Once you have completed the general configuration, go to the Groups section and create as many groups as you need.

You can customize the days and times when matches will be played within each specific group.

You can also adjust the points awarded for a win, loss, or draw.

In addition, you must select the courts where each group will play. When scheduling matches, the system will take both the selected courts and the available time slots into account.

Once you have created the groups, you can set the registration fees for the tournament and start enrolling players or teams.

To create registrations, go to this section and click “New”.

Once all players or teams have been registered, you can schedule the league matches.

To do this, go to the “Matches” section in the menu and click “Matches Schedule”.

A window like the following will appear, where you can select the group and the phase you want to schedule.

You can generate matches and court bookings at the same time to ensure the courts are reserved, or you can generate only the matches.

Check the “Booking courts” option to create everything at once, then click “Generate Matches”.

With this option, all matches should appear in the “Matches” section, and all corresponding court bookings will be created in the booking calendar.

If you prefer not to do both steps at once, simply do not select the “Booking courts” option and click “Generate Matches”.

If you later want to create the court bookings, repeat the process and click “Generate Bookings”.

The same process applies if you want to delete matches or court bookings:

Instead of clicking “Generate Matches”, click “Delete Matches”

The league has now been created. The only remaining step is to enter the match results.
