There are several factors to keep in mind before creating a camp (summer camp, Easter camp, Christmas camp, etc.).
Most importantly, you need to be clear about the services being offered: whether you have morning and afternoon shifts, if you offer a catering/lunch service, if transportation is available, etc.
To create a campus, go to: Planning > Campus > Campus
A window will open, displaying a list of all available camps (if any). Click 'New'.
The Campus details screen will open for you to fill out
The most important fields on this form are the start and end dates of the camp itself.
Therefore, select the corresponding dates on the calendar.
You must also specify the registration model, given that the camp is booked on a weekly basis rather than daily.
Once created, return to the main camp list window and click the 'Edit' button (green pencil icon) next to the camp you just set up to continue configuring its details.
Under the 'Additional Details' section, you can define the specific weeks that students can enroll in, allowing you to bill them accurately for each week they are registered.
Once inside, go to the 'Groups' option on the left-hand menu and click 'New' to create different sessions, such as if you want to split the camp into morning, afternoon, or full-day shifts.
Clicking the 'New' button will open a form for you to fill out. Enter your desired group name and specify whether it has an intensive or split schedule. You can also define the age range for the group and set a registration capacity limit.
Now, you can also set maximum capacity per week and per session; these limits don't need to be the same for every week.
To set up this option, go to 'Groups' section and select the specific group whose capacity limits you want to modify.
Inside the pop-up window, you will see the 'Detailed Vacancies' option. From here, you can create a new rule that allows you to filter by a specific week range and even by session.
