What Is the Cash Summary?
The Cash Summary is a report that shows transactions grouped by calendar days, and allows you to filter by:
📆 Day | 📆 Week | 📆 Month | 📆 Custom date ranges
To access the Cash Summary, go to:
Finance > Cash Control > Cash Summary
⚖️ The report displays income by payment method, making it easy to spot errors or discrepancies in your accounting.
🔑 Important: The Cash Register Log and the Cash Summary are not the same:
- The Cash Journal is based on opening–closing periods
- The Cash Summary is organized by calendar days
🔎 Example:
If your register stays open past midnight, any transactions after 00:00 will appear in the next day’s Cash Summary, but will still belong to the previous day’s Cash Journal
