When we already have the remittance created, we will only have to send the document to the bank and mark it as charged.
We always recommend waiting to mark the remittance as "Paid" until the bank confirms everything is correct. If there is an issue with a specific customer’s document, the bank will reject the entire remittance. By leaving it unmarked, you can easily resolve the issue and resubmit the file to the bank.
(Please note: Doing this means that clients who have already been successfully charged will temporarily show as having an outstanding debt until the file is fully processed).
* HOW TO RESOLVE THE INCIDENCE?
To remove a receipt from the remittance—for example, if the bank flagged it with an error—go to the remittance edit screen, as shown in the image.
Once you access the remittance and see the list of all receipts, click the 'X' icon to delete the one that caused the error.
Click the 'Update' button to save your changes. You can now resubmit the file to the bank without the error.
