What is credit or wallet balance?

The Balance is a practical payment option that allows clients to top up credit within the club. This gives them the flexibility to use that balance to pay for services, activities or products.

 

How can clients top up their balance?

Clients can top up their balance in two ways:

  • Directly at the club; reception can recharge their Balance from their profile or via the quick top-up icon.
  • Through the e-commerce system integrated with Matchpoint (if you're using one), either via the club’s website or app.

 

II. Creating Balance Top-Ups

 

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you easily set up top-ups:

 

Access the Balance Top-Up Menu

Go to Clients > General Pricing > Balance Top-Up. From here, you can:

  • View existing top-ups
  • Create a new top-up by clicking the New button

 

Fill in the new top-up details

When you click New, a window will open for you to configure the top-up. Fill in the following fields:

  • Status: Set whether the top-up is active or not
  • Name/Description: Enter a name or description to identify the top-up
  • Validity period: Set a start and end date if the top-up is time-limited
  • Purchase amount: Enter the amount the client will pay
  • Credit to top up: Specify how much balance will be added to the client’s account
    📌 Note: These two amounts can be different if you’re offering an incentive (e.g., “Pay €10, get €15 credit”)

 

Viewing and Editing Existing Top-Ups

  1. Once created, you can select a top-up from the list to view or edit it.
  2. You’ll see two main tabs:
  • Prices: This shows the general setup of the top-up
  • Conditions: Here you can define usage conditions for the top-up.
  • If no conditions are added, the top-up will be available to all clients
  • If conditions are set, the top-up will only be available to specific client categories (e.g., certain members or frequent users)

 

💡 Tips:

✅ Promote special top-ups: Use promotions like “Top up €50, get €60” to add value and encourage usage

✅ Segment with conditions: If your club offers different membership types, use conditions to tailor top-ups to each profile

✅ Keep validity dates updated: Make sure active top-ups are current to avoid client confusion
